Philbin wins an award….


FOR BEING INAPPROPRIATELY STUPID.

Anyone except Philbin would know that the ad for Warburtons was in no way connected to the news item about Zimbabwe any more than it was with the other three news items on that list, which included financial news and sports.

    He… he doesn’t realize the ads are semi random, based on browsing history? No, wait. I can believe he really is that stupid.

    He very clearly fails to understand anything. Philbin is just looking to stir the shit. What he knows about anything would not put piss in a cup.

    The funniest ad placement blooper I ever saw was when I was working for McCann-Erickson 25 years ago. There was an ad for special Planters nuts that showed an empty nut basket. The tagline was something like “What to do when the nuts are gone . . .” It ran opposite to an article on testicular cancer.
