"My work may be garbage but it's good garbage." Mickey Spillane
For months after the various authors pulled their books from Mystic Press, they demanded to receive a royalty statement form Tabetha. This grew louder as evidenced in comments from across the net and in off the record emails. Finally, at the very end of 2012, Tabetha sent them some clearly forged royalty statements supposedly from amazon, but not matching amazon’s back matter when the html of the statement is examined. Many people do not understand that it is possible to establish whether an emailed document is authentic or not.
Tabetha claimed that when people came forward at Emily Suess’s blog, all of their books were returned by angry customers. Yet, every purchaser I could locate still had their copies of the books in question.
